How to Play
Move and rotate the falling pieces so they fit together. A full row disappears and gives points. Keep the stack away from the top of the board.
Keyboard Controls
- Left / Right arrows: move the piece sideways.
- Down arrow: soft drop.
- Space: hard drop.
- Up arrow or X: rotate clockwise.
- Z: rotate counterclockwise.
- C or Shift: hold the current piece for later.
- P or Escape: pause.
Touch Controls
On phones and tablets, use the on-screen buttons below the board or quick board gestures. Tap the right side of the board to rotate clockwise, tap the left side to rotate counterclockwise, swipe sideways to move, swipe down to hard drop, and swipe up to hold. Use the buttons below the board when you want more exact control.
Game Modes
- Beginner: slower start and simple settings.
- Marathon: keep clearing rows and chasing a high score.
- Sprint: clear the target rows as fast as possible.
- Ultra: score as much as possible before time runs out.
- Zen: relaxed play with no pressure.
Revives
In solo play, a game-over screen can offer a revive. If rewarded ads are available, the rewarded revive continues the same run after the reward is completed. The math revive asks one short calculus question and allows two wrong guesses per game-over.
Friend Battle
Online battle creates a room code that a friend can join from another device. Same-device battle splits the screen in half so two players can compete on one keyboard.
Good First Goal
New players should try to keep the stack low and flat. Do not worry about advanced tricks at first. A clean board with small gaps is easier to survive than a tall board waiting for one perfect piece.
