Frequently Asked Questions

Practical answers about modes, saved data, revives, score submission, and friend battles.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Tetromino Arcade runs in a modern web browser on desktop, tablet, or phone. Open the site, choose a mode, and play.

Does the game work on phones?

Yes. Phones and tablets can use both board gestures and on-screen buttons. If gestures feel too sensitive, use the buttons below the board for more exact movement, rotation, hold, soft drop, and hard drop.

What is the best mode for beginners?

Beginner starts at level 1 with gentler movement settings, slower early gravity, and the ghost piece and grid kept on. Marathon is the next step when you want adjustable starting levels and a longer score run.

What ends each mode?

Beginner and Marathon end on top-out. Sprint finishes after 40 cleared lines. Ultra finishes after two minutes. Zen prevents normal top-out by clearing space near the top when a new piece would be blocked.

Can I play with a friend?

Yes. Online battle creates a room code for two devices. Same-device battle lets two players share one keyboard and play split-screen. Both versions start the players from the same piece seed so the score comparison begins from matching piece order.

What does the game save in my browser?

The game saves language, sound, tutorial completion, mode and display settings, the best local score, and optional battle or leaderboard display names. Temporary room or invitation data can be kept only for the current browser session. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Are leaderboard scores official tournament results?

No. A score is submitted only when the player chooses Submit Score. The server checks a temporary run token and basic plausibility signals, but the public list remains a casual comparison with no prize or official tournament status.

How do revives work?

After a solo top-out, the game can offer one short calculus question. Two wrong guesses are allowed at that game-over. A rewarded-ad revive is displayed only when a real rewarded ad provider is available; no rewarded ad unit is connected in the current version.

Does the current site request ads?

No. The current version has no live display ad slots or rewarded ad unit connected, so its reserved ad containers stay hidden and no ad-provider request is made. The Privacy Policy explains what will change before Google advertising is activated.

How can I remove locally saved game data?

Use Reset Best in Settings to clear the displayed best score. To remove all saved settings, names, and tutorial state, clear site data for Tetromino Arcade in the browser.

How do I report a problem?

Email lock.in.365d@gmail.com with the device, browser, page, and steps that caused the issue. Please do not send passwords, private IDs, bank information, or unrelated personal documents.
