Strategy Guide
These tips are written for normal players, not only experts. The goal is to survive longer, make fewer panic moves, and understand why strong players keep their boards clean.
Keep The Stack Low
A low board gives every new piece more space to move. If the board is already tall, even a good piece can be hard to place safely.
Avoid Deep Holes
One-cell holes are expensive because you often need several pieces to uncover them. When you can choose between a flat placement and a risky hole, choose the flat placement.
Use Hold Early
Hold is not only for emergencies. If a piece does not fit the current surface, holding it can keep the board clean and save a useful piece for later.
Do Not Hard Drop Too Fast
Hard drop is powerful, but on mobile it is easy to make a decision too quickly. Move the piece into place first, check the ghost position, then drop.
Build For The Next Piece
The next queue is there to help you plan. Before dropping a piece, glance at the first next piece and ask whether your move makes that piece easier or harder.
When The Board Gets Messy
Stop chasing fancy clears. Cover holes carefully, make small line clears, and lower the stack. Survival first; big scoring can come back after the board is stable.
